Nigeria Insecurity: Rev.Andimi Lawan,CAN President in Adamawa State, killed.
Reverend Andimi Lawan,Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Michika Local Government Area of Adamawa State, was reportedly killed (by his captors), Monday January 27, 2020.
Rev. Andimi Lawan beheaded 
In a viral video which seized the media space showed how gruesomely Mr Lawan was murdered-was a rather gory sight to behold.He was beheaded in a dug pit which ostensibly also served as his burial place. Perhaps upon their finished work, his killers may have right there, covered his remains with the earth.
Ten armed men stood watching while his decapitator, the eleventh, clad in black with a suspected matchete in hand, dealt six strikes on the rear neck region of Rev. Lawan, detaching it from the main body.
Wreathing at the first strike,Rev Lawan the dying man, jirked backwards as though to absorbed the shock and pain. A second one then lowered his head forward. A third, fourth, fifth and sixth crescending strikes eventually detached his head from the rest of his body.
Following the horrendous murder of Rev Lawan, and indeed to press home the torrents of insecurity in Nigeria,Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God(RCCG), not only led thousands of his members to a protest, but instructed all RCCG Churches across the States to do same.The protest in Lagos spanned from Ebute Meta to Etan , Yaba, an eye witness said.
Rev Andimi days after his abduction, was reported to have called on Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, Governor of Adamawa State, Clergy men and others to help secure his release. He was abducted earlyJanuary this year by insugents during a raid on Mitchika, in Adamawa State.
